Please be reminded that in order to qualify for a Club Champs trophy, you must volunteer for the club at least once in the same calendar year.
Club Championship Races for 2023:
- May Day 10 (Witham) – 1st May
- Halstead Marathon – 14th May
- Southend Half Marathon – 11th June
- Ingatestone 5 – 17th September
- Langham 10k- 24th September
County Championship Races for 2023:
- Essex 20 (Carver Barracks) – 5th March
- Road Relays at Colchester Sports Park – 16th April
- Halstead Marathon – 14th May
- Friday Night 5 – 23rd June
- Colchester 5k (trial for 2023) Friday 11th August
- Pleshey Half Marathon – 10th September
- Southend 10k – 1st October
- Tiptree 10 – 8th October
Club Championship Races for 2024
The committee has agreed that the following races will be the club championship races for 2024:
- Brentwood Half Marathon – Sunday 24th March – enter here
- Halstead Marathon – Sunday 12th May – enter here
- Tiptree 10 – early October
- The Mitre/Bishop Stortford 10k – early July
- The Boxing Day 5 – Thursday 26th December
Essex Championship Races for 2024
The Essex Road Running Championships is held over six races throughout the year over various distances – marathon, 20M, 10M, half marathon, 10K and 5M.
The following races have been announced for 2024:
- The Essex 20 – Sunday 17th March (entries open in late October 2023)
- Halstead Marathon – Sunday 12th May – enter here
- The High Easter 10k – tbc – early July
- Ingatestone 5 – 18th August
- The Pleshey Half Marathon – September
- Stebbing 10 – Sunday 10th November
