ARE YOU READY TO TAKE ON OUR HALF MARATHON?
We’re proud that our annual race is once again part of the Essex Championship Grand Prix Series.
Whether you’re chasing a personal best, aiming for an Essex medal, or here for a great run with a good atmosphere (with just a hint of competition), this is the race for you.
The race is chip timed and follows a scenic figure-of-eight route along quiet country roads around the beautiful village of Pleshey, near Chelmsford.
There will be four water stations providing cups of water, along with on-site medical support.
If you are a member of UK Athletics and were either born in Essex or have been a resident for nine months or more, don’t forget to select the Essex Champs option when entering. There’s no additional cost, and you’ll be eligible for both individual and team Essex Championship medals.
All finishers will receive a medal to mark their achievement, with additional presentations for Essex Championship category winners.
Free tea and coffee will be available for all runners, with further refreshments available to purchase.
Organised and marshalled by runners, the event is held under UK Athletics Rules.
