The Hobble Trail Race takes place on Remembrance Sunday and is the longest established trail race in Essex. Runners can choose approximately 10 or 16 miles. The event is open to runners aged 18 and over.
Format
This is a self-navigation trail race, using a written route description provided on the day. There are no course markings, marshals, or GPX files, and it is not a mass start event. Runners are timed individually from start to finish.
Race HQ
Race HQ is based at the Horse & Groom pub, which also provides toilet facilities.

Entry & Start Times
Entry is £9 (affiliated) or £11 (unaffiliated), plus a 50p booking fee. Start times are selected during entry from the available options. Each entry includes a £4 voucher to spend at the pub on the day.
Results
Results will be published on Springfield Striders and Essex Trail Events.
Additional Information
To allow friends to run together, multiple entries can be made under one name, provided full runner details are submitted before the closing date. No refunds are available unless the event is cancelled.
