Muddy conditions for the Lingwood Time Trial affected everyone differently this Saturday morning. Paul Broome posted the fastest time this year, just 5 seconds off his PB, but most of the men were significantly slower than in the previous two events. Richard Dobson came in 2nd, successfully navigating the route for the first time beating the time of Paul Jeggo by just 1 second! Isobel Gowers ran the fastest time by a woman since 2016, with Sara Demetriou, running the event for the first time, just 13 seconds behind. There was a welcome return to the slopes of Lingwood Common by Janet Hill.
Thanks to Tim for organising, John and Lorna for timekeeping, to all the marshalls that kept the runners on course and to everyone for helping to clear the course markings at the end. Next Lingwood Time Trial December 28th.
