Sunday was not all about cross-country. Sunday afternoon also saw 39 Striders take to the roads around the Chignals for the Chelmsford 10K. For those of us who registered early there was time to enjoy watching the juniors running 1500m on the track before heading out on the short walk to the start. The weather was still dry and bright but luckily there was just enough cloud to prevent the sun getting in your eyes!

Clare James was the only lady to beat her PB but Imogen Charlotte, Mamie Liu, Amanda Morton, Sarah Stonehouse, Kellie Turner and Speranza Holloway all registered their first time for 10K.
