Two ends of the country

There didn't seem to be much going on this weekend for Striders......

Twelve Striders took part in the High Easter 10k on Sunday in sunny conditions. First male Strider and 3rd overall was Alex Manton in 34.36. Alex was also 2nd male open. 2nd and 3rd male Striders were David Mason in 47.05 and Paul Tumner in 49.09. First lady Strider was Nikki Brockbank, returning to racing after the birth of her daughter, in 46.50. Nikki was followed by Karen Chapman in 49.51 and Katerina Miller in 49.56.

Meanwhile at the other end of the country, Sarah Goodwin took part in the first ever Stirling Scottish marathon and scored a time of 4.45 in cool and cloudy conditions with a bit of drizzle. Highly recommended as the scenery is beautiful, and surprisingly not too many hills (just inclines).
